- That man is universally and utterly sinful by nature as a result of the Fall, and that it is impossible for him to be saved by his own works or religious observances. Romans 3:23: Ephesians 2: 8-9; Romans 5:19
- That on the cross on Calvary the Lord Jesus Christ wholly and eternally paid the penalty for sin through the shedding of His blood and that any person who rests in faith on that finished work immediately enters into its benefits to their eternal salvation. John 5:24; Hebrews 10:14; John 19:30
- That God set His seal to the work of the cross by raising the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and seating Him at His own right hand in heaven, and that Christ in Heaven represents His people as their Great High Priest, Advocate and Intercessor. 1 Corinthians 15:17-20; Hebrews 8:1-2
- That the Holy Spirit operates in the conviction and conversion of the sinner and in the sanctification of the believer whom He indwells from conversion – teaching, leading and empowering for service. John 16:13-14; Ephesians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 6:19
- That all true Christians are priests to God and have equal and divine right to draw near to God in the holiest and offer up spiritual sacrifices apart altogether from human authorization, ordination or appointment. 1 Corinthians 12:14 1 Peter 2:5
- That there is but one Church and fellowship, the Body of Christ, composed of all those who accept by faith Jesus as Saviour and confess Him as Lord. Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 2:20-22; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
- That the local assembly or church is an expression of the whole Body. That those who thus meet rise above all sectarian prejudices and accept no name but those common to all Christians. That the local church or assembly has entire and final responsibility in matters of self-government, discipline and reception, free from all interference of any hierarchy of individuals, parties, or organizations, the only head being the Lord Jesus Christ. - That Christian baptism is the immersion in water of believers only, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Being an ordinance of God it should be observed by all Christians after being Born Again. Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:41; Acts 8:26-39
- That the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance of the Lord Jesus Christ to be observed on the first day of each week by Christians only, for the remembrance of the Lord in the breaking of bread and drinking of the cup. Luke: 22:19-20; Acts 2:42-46; 1 Corinthians 11:23-34
- That the Lord Jesus Christ will return to take away His redeemed people. 1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; and will subsequently judge the world and set up His Kingdom. Revelation 19:11-16
